Stichting Bayanihan
Stichting Bayanihan, Centrum voor Filippijnse Vrouwen in Nederland ( Bayanihan Foundation, Centre for Filipino Women in The Netherlands, is a self help women organization which stands for the rights of Filipina women in the Netherlands. It is an organization which strives towards the development and propagation of integration, participation and emancipation through empowering the Filipina in the Netherlands. It is a countrywide support centre for Filipina women in The Netherlands.
VISION
A society where everyone regardless of gender, religion, race, sexual preference, enjoys the same fundamental rights and liberties and opportunities for positive self-development and for becoming active participants in pursuing the ideals of an egalitarian and multicultural society. A society where all women have control over the direction of their lives, the capability to pursue and enjoy meaningful lives and are duly recognized for their equally invaluable role in creating a more humane and just society.

To advance the participation, integration and emancipation of Filipinas through empowerment in the Netherlands.

Role & Responsibilities
Country representatives play a crucial role in facilitating communication, coordination, and collaboration among the various organizations operating within different European countries. These representatives serve as the local ambassadors and advocates for the network, ensuring that the specific needs and perspectives of Filipina women in their respective countries are addressed effectively.

Bayanihan Help Line
We provide emergency assistance to Filipinas who need and ask for immediate and direct help. Our telephone help line is devoted entirely to calls for information, help or simply for a listening ear.

Social Service Assistance
We give practical tips and advice on various issues to intensive guidance and counseling.
Network & Advocacy
We provide referrals to the different Dutch institutions (e.g lawyers, municipal offices, social workers, shelters, police, etc.), and act as intermediary for the Filipina and the various institutions & individuals.
Research & Information Dissemination
We conduct research and surveys on issues concerning Filipinas in the Netherlands and dissemination of important information relevant to living in the Netherlands.
Empowerment Programmes
We provide different kinds of workshops, training sessions, awareness-raising and information seminars to address the problems and concerns of Filipinas in the Netherlands.
